The Australian cartoonist Michael Leunig created a series a while ago about the adventures of a certain Vasco Pyjama. Vasco Pyjama, a whimsical figure with a distinctive curly quiff, was aided in his travels by his direction-finding duck - a symbol of one's child-like, unsullied self.
